Muskox Immersion Weekend: Where the Land listens back
What it’s all about.
The 2025 Immersion invites participants into a space of co-regulation, creative expression, and reconnection with self, others, and the land. Through experiential exercises and shared reflections, the weekend offers a compassionate pause to honour lived experiences, explore individual and collective resilience, and generate ongoing practices of integration and support.
The weekend will be a combination of full group, small group, one on one and self reflection exercises. We will also have an afternoon of interactive 90 minute sessions where you can choose two to participate in:
Equine connection- Chloe
Art therapy- Anna
Forest Bathing-Justin/Jody
Nervous System Regulation Exercise- Darcy

Jody Radtke, RCC, is a counsellor, educator, and long-time wilderness guide whose work lives at the intersection of human nature and the natural world. With a background in Outdoor Leadership and a Master’s in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology, she has been a quiet pioneer in the fields of eco-psychology and trauma-informed practice. Jody supports individuals and teams navigating mountain trauma while fostering resilience, self-understanding, and connection to land and spirit. Based on Squamish territory (Skwxwú7mesh-ulh Temíx̱w), Jody offers somatic, nature-based care both locally and online, helping individuals and groups regulate, recover, and reconnect with a more integrated sense of self.
We are so excited to have these two highly experienced Therapists join together for this years Immersion from our Sea to Sky and Columbia Valley Chapter locations. Both come with an extensive wealth of knowledge in trauma informed practices and a passion for the outdoors. Welcome Jody and Justin!

With deep roots in adventure and cultural experiences, Justin brings a unique blend of clinical insight and expedition wisdom to his work. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and the founder of Journey To Connections, Justin has developed a practice grounded in the belief that healing happens through relationship—with ourselves, each other, and the land. With decades of experience supporting individuals through trauma, grief, and growth, Justin brings humility, and deep respect to every encounter. His facilitation with Mountain Muskox reflects a commitment to co-regulation, experiential expression, unique outcomes and wilderness as medicine—offering participants a chance to reconnect with trust, community, and their own inner compass. Expect to be met with grounded presence, shared laughter, and a felt sense of belonging—where story, challenge, and silence all have their place.

The suggested investment in this weekend is a sliding scale between $200-$500 (or more, if you feel you are able).
The cost taken on by Mountain Muskox to run this weekend is $12,000 and our maximum participant number is 30 people. We are hoping that by offering a sliding scale we’ll be able to cover a significant portion (or maybe all!) of the associated costs.
If you have a great desire to attend but this price range is out of reach for you at the moment, please let us know and we will navigate on a case by case basis. mountainmuskox@gmail.com
